Welcome to the 2021 Assessment Institute, hosted by IUPUI and held virtually Sunday, October 24, 2021, through Wednesday, October 27, 2021. This year, we had more than 10,000 registered attendees who joined us from all fifty states and more than 40 countries. We are offering and recording all of our sessions via the Zoom Webinar platform, so rest assured you will not miss anything. Your complimentary registration grants you access to everything, including our Sunday Pre-Institute Workshops, our Plenary and Track Keynote Presentations, and more than 85 Pre-Recorded Sessions. These informal sessions, open to everyone, feature leaders in these tracks: community engagement; diversity, equity, & inclusion; faculty development; global learning; graduate/professional education; HIPs in the States; learning improvement; NILOA; STEM education; student affairs and co-curricular programs and services; student partnership and engagement in assessment, and a session for General Institute Orientation. Participants can find the full program schedule on the Assessment Institute App. To download the Institute app to your phone or tablet, search and download the “Attendify” app in either the iTunes or Google Play store. Once the app has been downloaded, search for the event “2021 Assessment Institute.” Tap on the event and then “Join” to access the app.
Pre-Recorded Sessions:
View more than 85 Pre-Recorded Sessions offering advance access to excellent content. These pre-recorded sessions complement the presentations taking place during the Institute.
Handout Materials:
Many presenters have chosen to provide us with their handouts electronically prior to the Institute. Others plan to send them to us after the event; they will be posted to the Assessment Institute website after November 15, 2021. If you are a presenter and wish to have your electronic handouts posted to our website, please email them to planning@iupui.edu.

Podcast, Leading Improvements in Higher Education:
We are pleased to debut Season 2 of our award-winning podcast service, Leading Improvements in Higher Education. Listeners may access the podcast via common streaming services, podcast apps, or on our website. Season 2, Episode 1 features colleagues from Alverno College, recipient of the 2021 Trudy W. Banta Lifetime Achievement in Assessment Award. IUPUI’s Stephen Hundley, Chair of the Assessment Institute, serves as host.
