Book Resources
The organizers of the Assessment Institute in Indianapolis, the oldest and largest U.S. event focused on assessing and improving higher education, published Trends in Assessment: Ideas, Opportunities, and Issues for Higher Education (Second Edition). This book provides readers with information, strategies, and resources on assessment concepts and approaches across a broad and diverse mix of disciplines, institutional and organizational types, and levels of experience in higher education assessment.
Additionally, the Institute organizers have developed the Assessment and Improvement in Higher Education book series, which offers readers insights into the principles, practices, and perspectives related to assessment and improvement within the broader higher education ecosystem. The book series launches with Assessment 101 in Higher Education: The Fundamentals and How to Apply Them. Additional titles will be released in the series soon.
If you are an author interested in contributing to the book series and would like to share your ideas with the series editor, please contact Stephen Hundley at shundley@iu.edu.
