The Santiago 2026: International Conference on Assessing Quality in Higher Education takes place Sunday, June 21, 2026, through Wednesday, June 24, 2026, in Santiago, Chile. The Santiago Marriott Hotel will be the host hotel and serve as the primary location for conference programs and events. Those planning to attend the international conference should make travel and lodging arrangements as soon as possible.

Booking through the Santiago 2026: International Conference room block provides the following benefits: 

Room Rates (per room, per night): 

• Standard Single King Room: $162.00 USD + 19% VAT
• Standard Double Twin Room: $179.00 USD + 19% VAT

VAT Exemption for International Visitors: International guests paying in U.S. dollars and presenting both a valid passport and the immigration card issued upon entering Chile at check-in may be exempt from the 19% VAT. Please confirm eligibility with the hotel when booking.

Extended Stay

• Conference rates apply three days before and after the official event dates, subject to room availability.

Cancellation Policy

• Cancellations made on or before Tuesday, April 21, 2026, will not incur a penalty. 
• In the event of a no-show or early departure, the full cost of the reserved stay will be charged.

Additional Guests:

• Additional guests in a room may incur an extra charge.
• When booking your reservation, please select the correct number of guests staying in the room (at the top of the reservation page). If not specified, additional charges will apply, including for the breakfast buffet. 

Check-In/Check-Out Times:

• Check-in: 3:00 p.m.
• Check-out: 12:00 p.m.
• Late check-out is subject to availability and may incur additional charges.
