The Assessment Institute in Indianapolis invites you to attend our global event, the Santiago 2026: International Conference on Assessing Quality in Higher Education, held in Santiago, Chile, Sunday, June 21, 2026, through Wednesday, June 24, 2026. The Santiago Marriott Downtown will be the host hotel and serve as the primary location for conference programs and events.
Goals of the International Conference:
- Provide an international venue to disseminate research, scholarship, and practice-informed ideas related to the conference themes:
Strategic Directions: executing purposeful planning and forward-thinking approaches related to quality in higher education.
Leading Improvements: promoting a culture of excellence in student learning and institutional effectiveness.
Innovative Instruction: implementing leading-edge teaching methods to enhance learning experiences.
Engaged Learning: facilitating active participation and immersive educational experiences that promote student involvement.
Student Success: supporting and empowering students to achieve their personal, academic, and professional goals. - Discuss opportunities and issues facing the global higher education landscape.
- Promote cross-cultural dialogues and resource sharing with conference participants.
- Offer a smaller, more intimate gathering through which to network and build relationships with colleagues from other contexts.
