Grand Challenges in Assessment Project: Updates, Next Steps, and an Invitation to Participate
The Grand Challenges for Assessment in Higher Education project is a collaborative effort endorsed by ten higher education organizations to create national strategic plans to address pressing challenges facing assessment in higher education. Join this session to hear exciting updates, next steps, and an invitation to participate in these Grand Challenges:
- Using assessment findings to increase equity.
- Using assessment findings to direct immediate pedagogical improvements.
- Producing visible and actionable assessment findings that drive innovation and improvement.

A Landscape Analysis of Equity-Centered Assessment Practice
A team of practitioners collaborated to develop a national survey to examine the extent to which equity-centered assessment practices are used in higher education. In this session, presenters will share the equity-centered journey of survey development to the analysis of survey results and encourage participants to develop an action plan for their role using the findings.
